If the movie shifters become available, can you post pics of them? I may be your 1st. customer. Also anyone know the horn button guru. I could use one of those.

Car looks great! What is the gas tank out of originally?

The original tank would be like finding a needle in a stack of needles. Tanks Inc. has one that is pretty darn close, and holds double he amount of gas. I highly recommend going that route.

could anyone explain to me the original rear axle set-up? I see on many clones the 4 bar rear suspension with coilovers. In the movie it looks buggy-sprung. And axle, is it 9 inch Ford or 57 chevy posi? Why so favored on the coilover setup?

The rear end in the car is a 57-Chevrolet. I don't think it is a Posi. after seeing how the car takes off. The rear gears are 411 as from what's been said & known. Start 1st. with a 35-40 ford rear cross member & spring. Next call New Age Motorsport for the spring hangers & Ladder bar kit. There were no shocks, only the mounts.
